The above images are of original watercolour and oil paintings done during the 1990's, of various scenes in and around Vancouver, the lower B.C. mainlannd, and southern B.C. They are representative of some of Bill McLuckie's favorite themes: flowers in dramatic light, freighters at anchor in the waters of Burrard Inlet, Howe Sound, and the Straights of Georgia, against backdrops of snowy mountains, and various glimpses of swans in Vancouver's Stanley Park. They are digital images scanned from photographic prints that were made upon completion of the paintings. The paintings are in private collections and are no longer available.
